Background

Kasie is a USC School of Medicine graduate student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Applied Biotechnology. As a native South Carolinian, Kasie attended USC Columbia for her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. During this time Kasie has taken a wide range of Physical Education (PEDU) courses – Yoga, Power Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness, Pilates, Kayaking, Backpacking & Spinning. As a scientist, Kasie is very passionate about the health benefits of exercise and aims to inspire and encourage students to try challenging and fulfilling classes to help maintain a well balanced life.
