As a USC Nursing preceptor, you have the opportunity to share your knowledge and expertise by mentoring Nurse Practitioner students throughout the semester and providing meaningful learning experiences within your practice. Benefits of a USC preceptor

  • Verification of preceptor hours for ANCC or other certification agencies (many certification agencies offer CE credit for precepting).
  • SC preceptor tax credit (SC Senate Bill 969).
