Becoming a student in the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina opens up a world of opportunity. We will challenge you to be daring in your pursuit of knowledge and provide you with the resources and support you need to learn and thrive.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions oversees applications to the university, including the Honors College application. They provide the most comprehensive information on the application process, requirements and deadlines as well as managing general university scholarships.

The South Carolina Honors College also offers a limited number of departmental scholarships for both incoming and current students through an additional application process.

Honors information sessions offer a general overview about the opportunities offered by the Honors College, presented by our Honors Ambassadors. Honors information sessions are offered every Monday and Friday from 11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Learn more about the academic and personal opportunities offered by the Honors College. Meet with current Honors students and staff and ask any questions you may have about the SCHC. Admitted student panels are offered every Monday and Friday from 10:15 – 11 a.m. between February 24 – April 18.
Don’t forget to take a tour of campus! We recommend the 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. tour time if you plan on attending an information session.
Honors Ambassadors are a diverse group of involved students who exemplify Honors College qualities. They are driven intellectuals with unique backgrounds and love to answer questions about the Honors College.
