BA in English with minors in women and gender studies and business administration from the South Carolina Honors College at the University of South Carolina; Joint MA in English and women, gender, & sexuality studies from Brandeis University.

About Me

I'm originally from Dayton, Ohio. I graduated from the Honors College at USC in 2020! While at USC, I was a Research Assistant at the Darla Moore School of Business, President of Women LEAD, and an Honors Ambassador. My junior year, I studied abroad for a semester in Limerick, Ireland! I took a gap year between undergrad and grad school, and I spent that time completing an AmeriCorps service year with United Way of the Midlands in Columbia. I then moved up to Massachusetts to complete my MA at Brandeis University. For the last 2 1/2 years, I've been working in the higher ed nonprofit world, and I'm excited to bring that experience back to Carolina.

Outside of work, I love to read, garden, crochet, go birding and take care of my two cats, Basil and Pepper, and seven chickens. I also love to stay active – lifting weights, yoga and hiking with my partner, a fellow Gamecock!
