Cost: $40/hour

If you are a member of the My Carolina Alumni Association, you will receive three (3), one-hour coaching sessions per year as a part of your membership. If you are not a member and would be interested in joining, please click here for more information.
Assessment Tools
Our assessments are designed to help you make informed decisions about your career options. Regardless of which assessment(s) you are interested in, please email the Career Center at career@sc.edu. We will connect you with the alumni career coach before taking any assessment(s) to determine which one(s) will benefit you most. Once you have completed your assessment, a qualified staff member will meet with you and help you interpret your profile. The coaching fee for the interpretation is $40, unless you are a member of the My Carolina Alumni Association. Fees must be paid before a meeting with the career coach.
Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
Cost: $20, plus $40 coaching fee (if not a member of the USC Alumni Association)
This tool measures your preferences and provides you with a 4-letter personality type.
It is not career specific, but it can help you make career decisions. You will receive
an expanded workplace report for your personality type during your interpretation
coaching session.

Strong Interest Inventory
Cost: $20, plus $40 coaching fee (if not a member of the USC Alumni Association)
This tool is a valuable career assessment tool that assesses a person's interests
across six broad areas and compares you to other people who share your interests and
are happy, successful and satisfied in their occupation. You will receive a comprehensive
report that provides insights into personality, interests, strengths, work style and
risk orientation during your interpretation coaching appointment.
