Training Components
The S.T.A.R.T.T.-A.I. has three training components:
A synchronous training based on the ARC framework, addressing trauma, attachment, self-regulation and competency integration in clinical settings.
An asynchronous, evidence-based course designed for mental health providers who work with or plan to work with children and youth in the child welfare and juvenile justice systems and their families.
Through the Tmind AI platform, trainees will engage in clinical sessions to practice applying the ARC framework in safe but realistic environments.
In the long term, S.T.A.R.T.T.-A.I. seeks to expand access to high quality mental health services in South Carolina, reduce rural-urban disparities and promote the mental well-being of system-involved children, youth and their families in South Carolina.
