Fran Gardner Included in Exhibit at Artisans Center

Fran Gardner's artwork has been accepted into a national exhibit at the Artisans Center of Virginia, a facility which offers educational programming and fine arts exhibitions.

This year there were 333 entries. The juror, Mark Newport (Head of Fibers, Cranbrook Academy of Art), selected 35 pieces for the exhibit titled, "Transforming the Elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water."

The exhibit runs May 15 - June 25, 2008. The opening reception is May 17 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
